SHOPPING!
I'm very excited because my friend Jeryn and I are going to make a trip to Grand Forks on Saturday to shop! It will be so fun! Jeryn is also prego, and we'll both want to find maternity summer clothes. Does anybody have any suggestions on where to go, or what to look for? I don't know how much I should get, or what to get, especially because I'm prego throughout the summer, but also into the fall and early winter. I've already got the top shown on the left. We've found a few online coupons for Gordman's too, so that will help out a little. I can't wait to hit Bath & Body Works - one of my faves!

Make sure at least some of the shirts you get are LONG! By the end of my pregnancy, most of my maternity tops didn't even cover my belly!
heather, my friend...
re: Bath & Body Works
so the best product ever is called 24/7 Breathe Comfort (??) and it comes in a few scents. it is this lotion you put on that gives you a bit of a tan and a shimmer and it dries instantly! it is soooooooooo good...i got mine in Vanilla Milk and i love it!! if you want a bit of the sun-kissed look w/out the sun you gotta get it!! soooo good!
Brandi - thanks! I'll keep on the lookout.
Camille - That stuff sounds awesome! I can always use a bit of tan! I'll check it out.
Make sure you get a new dvd player and about 10 dvds. Oh and get NHL Center ICE [all playoff hockey] and a brand new Barca Lounger.
Oh wait...you're going shooping for yourself?
I was thinking of Ryan.
My sister in law is pregnant right now and when we went to Grand Forks in March, she came home with some really nice cloths. She went to JC Penny and got three shirts and two pairs of jeans all for just under $100.00. She got some really nice stuff too. Target also has maternity cloths. Good Luck shopping!
I agree with Brandi, long shirts. Also keep in mind that you don't have to buy "maternity" clothes, there are so many stretchy long shirts and tank tops out there, it's the new style or whatever. I've been wearing lots of those, and they show off your belly nicely, even niceer than some maternity shirts. I love Motherhood, I think they have great stuff. You'll probably want to buy the store out once you walk in, but try to buy only what you need for now, you have no idea what you're going to look like in a few months!
I bought a TON of clothes right near the beginning of my pregnancy with Hails and it was such a bad decision. I would have way rather bought a few things here & there through out the 9 months (arghh, actually I still did do this...) then buy a whole bunch of clothes all in one shot. I didn't even end up wearing a couple of pairs of pants and a few shirts from that first shopping spree because I ended up finding out that they just weren't comfy. Anyway, that's my advice....you asked for it :) All in all I agree with Nin. It's a good idea to buy what you need first and then work from there.
Don't worry A.Run! Ryan is out fishing with the boys this weekend, so he is in his glory!
Amber - Great advice. I think I'll stick to summer clothes for now then, and wait on the fall/winter stuff until later... when I'm fatter!
Oh yeah I forgot - if it looks terrible on you now, it will not look cute when you are more pregnant - it should still look and feel good even when you're belly is smaller.
i'm totally upset that i read this post too late - i would SO have gotten you to pick up some stuff for me as Bath & Body works is my FAV store!!!!! ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
