Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you one more quick little update, and more prayer requests. I went to the Dr. yesterday with my hubby, and it seems I have some type of infection that is causing more bleeding. Also, after a long discussion about my mental health, she decided to put me on some VERY mild anti-depressants. Seems I am a wee bit postpartum depressant. So... I'm feeling a little better, but I am popping all kinds of pills, and still a little anxious about our travels. I know that I can count on you for prayers, so I am reaching out once again to ask you for some. I need a few miracles. I need healing. I need rest. I need to trust God fervently, with my life, with my child, with everything. Please think of us, as we think of all of you this Christmas season. I will try to make a few posts once we are out there.
James Kennedy - one month old already!
With love, peace and joy to you - may you be richly blessed this Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of our Saviour! Hallelujah!

Heather, i'll be praying for you as you make the trip to Hawaii. God Bless you guys this Christmas!
Heather - I'm glad you saw the doctor now before your trip and found out about the infection and got the anti-depressants. Hopefully that will help set your mind at ease when you're on your trip. I will be thinking of you lots and looking for updates!! I hope that everything goes really smoothly for you guys.
Just one question - how did your doctor know you had an infection - just by looking? Sorry if it's too much info :), but I've been paranoid lately about that myself...
Anyway, on that note :o) - hope you have a wonderful Christmas weekend (and James is cute as always!)
Jamie - I have had a fair bit of fresh blood "done there", plus a gland became swollen and was causing a lot of pain - which are both signs of an infection. I'm hoping the meds get it all cleared up really soon. Hope you don't have the same thing, it's no fun!
I hope everything gets cleared up soon and that you can have a very RELAXING vacation. I'll be praying for you.
I think the hardest thing to do in this life is release the life, mind and soul, and spiritual destiny into God's hands. Know that you are not alone....we ALL struggle with this, it's HARD being a mom. I've heard some people say, "oh yeah, I felt that way with my FIRST too".....
But here's a little secret, whether you're on your first, your second or your seventh, being a mom is the most difficult job in the entire world, one that doesn't come with paid breaks, summer vacation or weekends off. You are doing a GREAT JOB, no matter what! Don't feel like you need to minimize what you're going through. ("she put me on some VERY mild anti-depressants, seems I am a WEE BIT postpartum....") What you are feeling is VERY REAL, and very painful. I've never had postpartum, but I have been depressed, and it SUCKS. Know that God has heard your cry, and He will be your comfort. This is just going to be one more way for God to display His faithfulness in your life. Your life speaks volumes of His amazing faithfulness, even in the storm.
Bless you
the first line I wrote, I meant for it to say, the life mind and soul and spiritual destiny of OUR CHILDREN into God's hands...
Hey girl! Hang in there you are doin' a great job! Glad to hear that you found out about the infection and got some meds before your trip...at least maybe you won't be quite as uncomfortable now! Enjoy your holiday as much as you possibly can! You and your family will all be in my prayers!!! Merry Christmas!
sorry your having some blues heather.. im having that more this time than last time I believe.. real teary and emotional. i hope it passes quickly.
james is so pretty. he has such a serious look to him :-)
Heather,I am so proud of you for being honest on your blog. You know you have our prayers and we will take good care of your cats while you're gone. God will hear your cries and answer them. Love ya lots!!
Heather,
Don't worry about being on meds for ppd. I have suffered with depression and panic attacks in the past. I have had many people tell me that I just needed to trust God... but it is not a faith thing. I have been on anti-depressants for years now and am living happily. I don't regret being on them at all!! Hope all is well.

I just love the pictures of James. He is so cute!!!! And so special too, because of the hard times you had to go through til you got him (I mean last December)
Hope you are having an amazing relaxing trip!
