We are ALL home!

Wow. Can a three letter word really sum it up? Maybe this one is better - MIRACLE. Or AMAZING. Thank you dear Lord. Thank you. And all of you - the prayers - they worked BEYOND what you can imagine. The whole story will be posted.

But first... CONGRATULATIONS to Dianna - she was my lucky prediction winner. However, Amber you were so close in second place that you can also get a prize.
And Uncle Matt - thank you for such an awesome post for me. I wasn't expecting that!

And now... the first posted picture of James Kennedy, our beloved, much awaited son...

Awww Heather! I am so happy for you. It was awesome seeing Ryan in the store and being able to give the proud new Daddy a hug. I'm so happy that everything went well and that your son is here safe & sound! He's a cutie!!Congrats again - can't wait to talk to you, but I know you haven't had much sleep these last 2 nights so I'll wait a few days before calling! Take care, and enjoy your little newborn!!!

Oh, he looks so cute!! I'm almost getting tears in my eyes and I don't hardly know you! Glad you're home. Have a good first night. Try not to panic about every little noise he makes... :)

Awwwww! That is so nice! It just makes my heart happy. Isn't it amazing to walk out of the hospital and get to take a real live baby home with you? I could hardly believe it when we brought our first home! I wish I could go back and relive what you are doing right now... It's so overwhelming that it is hard to be "in the moment". Give little James a kiss from all his online aunties.

Hi Heather and family,
First: Congratulations!!!
When I saw the picture of the three of you I started crying :-) Not just a few tears, I really cried (my husband would say my hormons go crazy, I'm 21 weeks pregnant). This picture has so many feelings in it. I love the looks on your faces. There is joy, happiness and proudness of your beautiful son. Thank you for sharing it with us!
I bet you and your husband fight who changes the diaper ;-)

Congrats to Heather and hubby!! Good job guys!!!!!!!!!
Welcome little James!!!!
I will be praying for you! I pray that your recovery goes smoothly, and that you are not suffering too much discomfort in the weeks to come. I pray that breastfeeding is going well for both you and little James. I pray that it would be a physical and emotional blessing. I pray that as your rollercoaster hormones come back into alignment, that you and your hubby would draw closer to eachother and to God. I pray that you would not feel pressured to see everyone! If you are up for visitors, I pray that your visits would go awesome, and that James would sense all the love in his new family. But I also pray that if you are not up for seeing anyone other than your new son and hubby, that you would feel the freedom to soak that up. Close the door and turn off the phone if you need to, that little guy isn't going anywhere, and there is plenty of time for everyone to meet him. Right now you and your hubby may need to just rest in your new roles, and soak up the blessing of your new growing family.
You are so blessed! God is so good! I've been so blessed to have followed your quest to motherhood, I can't wait to read the next chapter!!
You are an amazing woman, and amazing mother, and amazing wife! God will carry you through the times ahead with joy and peace. Congrats! He is gorgeous!
