Is this normal? My tummy is the same size as my sister-in-law's - but she is 8 months pregnant! Help!

Wow! I haven't seen you in so long! Kalia can hardly wait to meet her new little friend!

That means that your sister-in-law is going to have a girl and you are going to have a boy.

lol.....
I was at a restaurant when I was 5 months, and I saw another pregnant woman who looked the same size as me, so I asked her how far along she was and she said 8 months. Right away I was like, ph my goodness, why am I so huge!! But really.....who cares!!!???? Us females are so funny when it comes to how big we're getting and how fast we're showing, it doesn't matter. All that matter is that you're healthy, and the little one growing inside you is getting everything that he or she needs. It's only when we compare ourselves to others that we begin to worry, but when we just focus on the miracle right in front of us, we can be reminded of all the joy and blessing it is to grow and grow and grow.....no matter how big or fast or small or slow.
You look absolutely beautiful!!!! You carry very well, it's georgeous.

everybody carries so differently - depending on their body types & such. you look amazing & enjoy being "HUGE"! i measure full term when i was 7 1/2 months - and Kamryn ended up 2 1/2 weeks overdue - so i was a house and a garage - to say the least! (check my March 20 post for an example)
don't worry about it at all - just be excited that being so "BIG" means the baby is growing very well - and you are creating an amazing habitat for it!!

you know, honestly, I really don't like how we compare ourselves to others.....I do it ALL the time. My friend is due march 15th and I'm due on the Second....I know that the whole pregnancy will be one of who has the bigger tummy....

FOR PETE"S SAKE MAN>>>>
let's enjoy and embrace the beauty of how God made each body different and how a big beutiful baby in our tummies is nothing to be ashamed of!

I'm telling myself this too, but really, you have a nice healthy baby growing in there and don't worry about how big your baby gets!
Peace

carebear - You are so right. Us women can't even take pride in our bodies when we're pregnant! For the most part I'm not too concerned about my size, but it did strike me as odd that we are so close in size, yet she is nearly due. Thanks for the friendly reminder. I'm not going to think about it anymore...

I think so. Some women just carried more in the front.
Im just now hitting 5 months and I can still fit into my size 3 jeans.

I was bigger w/ my 1st child than I am now w/ my 2nd.

I think some women carried their children like deep inside or something... because Im still not looking pregnant.

Either that or this baby is SUPER tiny.

:-)
Atleast you didnt stay in the "ate to much" kind of stage long.
Im still in that stage... where people are like "Uh.. is she just fat from the 1st baby? or pregnant?" haha"
