I'm the mom who packs processed meat in her kids' lunches, has a sweet tooth, struggles to enjoy fitness, and loves to shop online. If you've ever suffered from something known as a "vulnerability hangover", or you think it's hard trying to do everything well, or if you just plain want to give up sometimes, then this might be the perfect blog for you to read! I'm a stay-at-home mom, and I'm learning about being imperfect, how to be courageous and authentic, how to look at failure as growth, and so much more! I have three beautiful miracle children, and I'm married to their daddy - my husband Ryan. We also have four angel babies who are waiting for us in Heaven. I've gone through many years of depression, anxiety. If you have ever suffered from depression and anxiety, I get it. Through my last 11 years of being a mom, serving my community, and more recently, going through counselling, I find myself on a new path - looking for my strength in Christ, and praying that He will make a "new work" in me! I love to write and speak to groups, so these are just a few snippets of my writing. May you be blessed!
