This website gives a pretty good explanation of the Rh disease that can occur when a mother has Rh negative blood, and the father Rh positive blood as is the case for Ryan and I. I found it quite interesting.
heather...my mom had that same problem with Sherry and Carlos. We are all positives and she is a negative. Hopefully all will be well with the shot they give you.
Thanks Patti. I'm not too worried about it. My mother-in-law had the same thing, as well as two of my aunts. Everyone had success with the shot, so I'm sure it is nothing to fret about. Apparently it generally doesn't even effect the first birth, but is more of a concern for the next.
