Big brother holds Rayya.
Four generations: Great-grandma Trudy Harris, Grandma Wendy Kroeker, Mommy Heather Plett and Baby Rayya Plett.
Such a good big brother! Here you see Rayya's splint - she has a "hip click", which is quite common and will be looked at this week to see how it's going.
A beautiful hat crocheted by friend Tannis Hiebert.

My youngest daughter had the same brace. She wore it for 4 weeks and after that, her hips were fine. She is way too cute!
Beautiful pictures! I love the 4 generation picture...what a legacy of beautiful women.
My niece, Kajsa, had hip displasia and wore a brace exactly like that one. She wore it for 3 months (which is on the longer end). Its good they caught it early on Rayya!
She's absolutely beautiful Heather. Enjoy every minute of this baby phase.
that is a very beautiful hat.
She's so pretty. These pictures make me so happy. I'm so very, very happy for you Heather!
What wonderful photos! You look marvelous! I hope you're getting some rest and just soaking in every minute with that precious girl.
I love the pictures.. your children are so beautiful. How are you doing?? Hanging in there okay? I know the first few weeks of hormones, trying to breast feed, and lack of sleep makes the day to day things (like showering) overwhelming! Remember to go with your instincts...
I didn't have a splint like that but was double clothed diapered because of hip issues when I was first born.
Thinking of you my beautiful friend
Yay! What a happy little girl and a very proud big brother! Glad to hear all went well!
you can NOT look that good after having a baby!! not allowed!! :) can't wait to cuddle your girlie!
